Montego Bay, Jamaica

Jamaica was exactly the kind of rest week we needed. Because it is hurricane season, it rained every afternoon, which was the perfect excuse for daily naps. We had a few days to lounge on the beach, a couple of beautiful sunsets, and lots of reading time.

On our second night, our hotel had “Jamaican night.” Besides the classic eats like jerk chicken and rice made in coconut milk, they also had an incredible band called Positive Vibrations along with a fire breather.

I think we can say that our first “rest week” was a success. Now, it’s time for Colombia!
