Teton Crest Trail, Wyoming

This past weekend, Whitney and I went backpacking along the Teton Crest Trail in Grand Teton National Park with our two friends, Rachel and Trevor. The Teton Crest Trail can be extended farther than we hiked, but due to time constraints, we opted to hike about 30 miles over three days. We started by hiking up Granite Canyon to Marion Lake and camped just past the National Forest junction the first night. The second day, we hiked along Death Canyon Shelf and into Alaska Basin. We camped just past Sunset Lake on the way up Hurricane Pass for night two. On the third day, we hiked over the pass and down Cascade Canyon. The views were incredible and the company made it so much better!

This backpacking trip was a great adventure and one I highly recommend. It was nice to explore the park away from the crowds of people swarming Jenny Lake and get a bit of fresh air!
