This past weekend we had a second round girls’ trip reunion with two of our best friends from Salt Lake City. We met up in Swan Valley, Idaho which is about halfway between us. The Snake River cuts through the valley surrounded by beautiful mountains. It was stunning.
We unfortunately set up camp near an ATV course, which we didn’t realize until ATVs and dirt bikes zoomed by at all hours of the night. Ugh! But we did find a beautiful hike to Lower and Upper Palisades Lake. It was a long one, 14.5 miles. But it was worth the views!
The second day we drove along the river to Fall Creek Falls. The waterfall is right off the road and lends incredible views of the valley below.
