Colombia is of course, well known for coffee. We couldn’t wait to nab a good latte!

We also tried canalazo, a local hot drink made with various spices. It tasted like apple cider.

We learned how to play tejo, a traditional Colombian game played over beer. In tejo, a person throws a heavy metal puck across a dirt court in an attempt to hit the white triangles of gunpowder to produce a “mecha,” or explosion. Whoever gets the most points for hitting mechas wins.
