Las Vegas, Nevada

This past weekend we hit up Sin City for a friend’s 30th birthday celebration. And because of the type of people we are, we ended up spending most of our time in Las Vegas, well… outside Las Vegas. On Saturday, we visited Red Rock National Park and Valley of Fire State Park before attending Ka, a Cirque du Soleil show at MGM. We ate our hearts out at Bouchon, a delectable French restaurant, and stuffed our faces with “crazy shakes” from Black Tap. On Sunday, we drove out of town on I-15 to frequent the famous Seven Magic Mountain art installation. Swiss artist, Ugo Rondinone, created the seven majestic towers of rock, reaching over 30 feet high.

While walking along the strip, we found this adorable rainbow staircase. Whit and I couldn’t pass up a chance to take some colorful photos.

I think the birthday celebration went off without a hitch. Thirty is looking pretty good, if you ask me!
