The Alpine Loop Scenic Drive is a 20 mile road that twists through American Fork Canyon into the Uinta National Forest and out through Provo Canyon. The rugged peaks of the Wasatch emerge atop glittering gold and ochre aspen leaves, juxtaposed with deep evergreens. The canyon maples and scrub oaks paint the mountainside with brilliant crimson and vermillion strokes. Expansive views of Mount Timpanogos reward visitors at nearly every turn.
